For local, hourly rate moves, the clock starts when we arrive at the origin location. The clock ends on your move when we have unloaded the last item at the destination point. DDT (drive time) is charged from the time the truck leaves the origin location after being loaded, and stops when we arrive at the destination point of your new home. This way you are not charged DDT for the drive back to our warehouse. We charge locally at an hourly rate based on how many men and trucks are needed. We consider local moves less than 100 miles from origin to destination.
